I had great admiration for Dr. Cobb whose public service extended well beyond his time as State Health Officer. Mississippi was well served by his fierce advocacy for education and funding for preventive health as well as professional training and advancement of employees! He was a friend and a mentor to many who had long and successful careers! Dr. Cobb has Gods peace - the peace that surpasses our understanding! My condolences to his wife Mary, his son and daughters and all those grandchildren!
