Alvin Coalson Obituary
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 17, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Camilla with interment in Oakview Cemetery. Rev. Chad Boyd will officiate.
Born March 30, 1953, Mr. Coalson was the son of the late Thomas Loy Coalson and Elsie Lanette Tibbetts Coalson. He was also preceded in death by his wife Jean Dixon Coalson and a brother, Wayne Coalson. He was the owner of Father and Son Publishing.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Coalson Bowman of Tallahassee, FL; a son, Christopher Allen Coalson (Erin) of Tampa, FL; brother, Terry Coalson of Baconton; grandchildren, Landon Bowman, Piper Coalson, Ruby Coalson, and Coalson Bowman and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 17, one hour prior to the service, at First Baptist Church in Camilla
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Camilla, P.O Box 414 Camilla, GA 31730 or a charity of choice.
Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dear Lance. I will miss you. I have always looked up to you and wanted to be like you.
Words escape me and shocked to hear you are with our lord. We spoke just the other day and I was looking forward to meeting with you since it had been so long. I always enjoyed your guitar playing at the old Christian Heritage church. I love you and miss you my friend.
