Mrs. Sara Paisley Coalson, age 72, of Mount Airy, passed away at her residence on Saturday evening, March 15, 2025, with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Coalson was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, March 1, 1953, to the late Ed Huff and Inez Paisley Huff. She was a loving wife, mother, nana and friend. She’ll be deeply missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Coalson is survived by her loving husband of almost 53 years, Dale Coalson; daughter, Amy Coalson and Travis Fletcher; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff Coalson and Felicia; grandchildren, Fisher Dale Coalson, Catherine Coalson; brother and sister-in-law, Gary Huff and Brenda; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coalson is preceded in death by her sister, Ann Parrish and brother, Bill Huff. A celebration of Mrs. Coalson’s life will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy, with Larry Huff officiating. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy on March 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice PO Box 325, Dobson, NC 27017. Moody’s of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Coalson family.
