Alvin Herman Obituary
Alvin Herman Sr. served proudly in the U.S. Marines and later enjoyed a long career as a truck driver until he was 85. He welcomed all his neighbors with warmth, unless you happened to walk on his grass!
He was also a remarkably talented musician, playing multiple instruments and loving the organ. His musical talents brought joy to many and left a lasting legacy.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Catherine, his son, Alvin Herman Jr., and his girlfriend of 18 years, Barbara McGrail. He is survived by his son, Brian Herman, his daughter, Lisa Herman, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward his memory and love.
We will be holding a celebration of life at his home, located at 419 Kansas Avenue in Delanco, on January 3rd at 3 PM. All who were close to him are welcome to join us.

Al was our neighbor when we lived in Delanco. We had seen Al when we came back to n.j about 16 months ago. We shared some stories and had a few good laughs we were sorry to hear about his passing

So sad to hear of the loss of such a wonderful guy! I was happy to have helped him to get to see his Grandson in California as well as a few other trips to see his wonderful family. He always spoke highly of all of his family and loved spending time with them. I will miss him!
