Alvin Millichamp Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Aria Cremation Service and Funeral Home - Preston Road on Jan. 7, 2026.
Alvin Ronald Millichamp went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 30, 2025, at the age of 93.
Ron was born on April 21, 1932, to John Edward Millichamp and Artie Elizabeth Green. A gifted student, he graduated from Denton High School at the young age of 16. At 18, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
In November 1960, Ron married the love of his life, Anna Molene Dawson. Together they shared 60 years of marriage, building a life rooted in faith, dedication, and family.
Ron spent 45 years employed with the United States Postal Service in Plano, Texas, where he retired after a long and faithful career marked by commitment and hard work.
A devoted Christian throughout his life, Ron was a man of strong faith who sought to serve Jesus in all that he did. He was a lifelong member of the Baptist faith and lived his beliefs through service, kindness, and quiet strength.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Molene; his granddaughter, Krystal Reeves; three sisters; one brother, Ed Millichamp Jr.; and one nephew, Eddie Millichamp.
He is survived by his children: son Ivis Lane Byrom (Christina), daughters Ronda Crumby (Mark), and Stacy Walls; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Trenton, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the First Baptist Church Benevolent Fund to help those in need.
Ron will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
