Patricia Carolyn Pierce Raney was born on July 10, 1936. She went to her eternal home on March 8, 2026
Pat was born in Florida and grew up and lived her life in Denton Texas.
She graduated from Denton High School and North Texas State. She was a devoted and dedicated teacher for over 30 years. After retiring, she volunteered in the library at Borman Elementary.
She married the love of her life, Charles, in 1957. Pat and Charles loved C&W dancing at the old Trail Dust for many years.
Pat enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, cooking and spending time with family.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, her mother, Billie Hindman, her father John Pierce, her stepfather Dr. Lloyd Hindman and her in-laws, Olen and Olena Raney.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Lisa Raney of Denton, her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Donna Raney of Denton. She loved her five grandchildren, Logan (Sarah), Kelsey (Josh), Bailey (Chase), Christian and Emmy (Daniel). She delighted in seeing her great grandchildren Jackson, Josiah and Ella Raney; Quinn, Ken and Fallon Hamlin; and Claire, Easton and Benny Patterson. She loved her grand dogs, Riley, Reese, Lola, Mel and the rest.
Mom, Pat, Grandma, you will forever be in our hearts and you will be missed.
