Alvin Jude Russell, born February 21st, 1944 to Henry Paul Russell and Alma Hebert Russell, passed away at 80 years of age on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Alvin was the 8th of 9 children, and his siblings include Henry C Russell Sr. (dec.), Carmel R. Breaux (dec.), Clara R. LeBlanc (dec.), Ernest J. Russell Sr. (dec.), Wayne P. Russell, Lionel D. Russell (dec.), Carole Ann R Fortmayer Haynes (dec.), and Gene M. Russell. He is survived by his wife, Claire E. Russell, and his four sons Michael Wayne Russell, Thomas Jude Russell, Christopher Martin Russell, and Gabriel Dean Russell, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He served honorably in the US Army in Vietnam as a Statistical Machine Repairman. He retired from IBM where he worked as a computer repair technician.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, February 8, 2025. A visitation will begin at 5:00 P.M. and a Mass will follow at 7:00 P.M..
