Alyce E. Chess (Lisa), 56, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
She was born in Ann Arbor, MI on October 4, 1968 to the late Edward William and Sonia Halpern Forsberg.
Lisa graduated from Uniontown High School, class of 1986.
She was a member and volunteer of Liberty Baptist Church of Oliver, PA.
Lisa was always seen with a smile on her face- whether she was out shopping or sharing a moment with those she loved. She had a kind heart and never met a stranger.
Lisa is survived by two daughters and a son, Anna Chess and Steve of Connellesville, Emily Riley, husband Jordan, and granddaughter Kya Rose of Timnath, CO, and Samuel Chess of Commerce City, CO ; and a sister, Julie Maeda and husband Steve of Parker, CO.
Visitation for Alyce will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401on Wednesday, September 17th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 18th at 11 AM. A private interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
