Alyce Florence Marsh

Alyce Florence (Nickerson) Marsh beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away January 31, 2026 at her home in Grainfield, Kansas at the age of 79, born on October 11, 1946 in Denver, Colorado.

Alyce graduated from Sheridan High School and then started a variety of employment opportunities, which laid the foundation for the wonderful work ethics she would later instill in her children.

She enjoyed spending time with friends, children, and grandchildren, and loved playing with her great grandchildren. She enjoyed quilting and would make anyone a quilt. Anyone that has one knows how special it is, and all the love that went into making them.

Her faith played a significant role in her life, bringing her joy and peace. Friends and family will remember her for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support of those around her.

Alyce is survived by her daughter's: Kristina Cox (James), Tracy Hanoch, Kimberley Heatley (Steve), Jeff Marsh (Debra), Steve Marsh (Rhonda), Michelle Frickey (Brian) and Cindy Marsh (Justin). Along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews along with so many very close friends.

In her passing she is reunited with her beloved husband Lem Marsh, her parents Keith Nickerson and Luella Ayres, her beloved brothers, Kenneth Nickerson, Will Nickerson, Darrell Nickerson and baby Keith.

Her memory will live on in the heart of all of us who loved her. A memorial service to honor Alyce will be held on February 20, 2026 at 11:00AM at Plumer-Gobber Funeral Home, 215 W. Main St., Norton, KS 67654.

Family and friends are welcome together to celebrate her remarkable life, memories and legacy she has left behind.
