A star was born on July 18th 2002. She was given the name Alyssa June Fluet, a.k.a June Bug, Lyss, beautiful girl, and "I was Donna once!".
Alyssa was born in Lawrence, MA, grew up and was educated in Methuen, MA, where she was a lifelong resident. She was currently a student at Salem State College.
She shone brightly on all those around her; family, friends, coworkers, and more. She loved and was loved. There is now a hole in all of our hearts, especially for the love in her life, Cam.
She will be greatly missed by her mom Diane, her sister Abigail, her dad Michael, and her life long posse (you know who you are....). Aunts Debbie, Lisa, Leasa, Tracy, Janet, Cindy, Shelly, and Julia. Uncles Charlie, Scott, Marc, Jeff, Lee, John, and Kevin. Cousins Michael, James, Codey, Amanda, Jeffrey, Rachel, Theresa, Ian, Alex, Jacob and special family member, Elaine and more.
She will perform Act II with Grammy Dottie, Grampy Norman, Memere Donna and Emba along with others who she loved that have gone before her.
After a wonderful day with the most beautiful sunset, the star was last seen shining over Portland ME. She will shine in our hearts forever.
Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Saturday, August 19th from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH.
A celebration of Alyssa's life will be celebrated on Saturday, August 19th from 1 PM to 5 PM at the Phoenician Restaurant, 12 Alpha St, Haverhill, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alyssa Fluet Memorial Scholarship Fund, TD Bank, N.A., P.O. Box, 1377, Lewiston, ME 04243.

This is really sad news. We knew Alyssa through the Boston Yacht Club. Her energy was amazing every time we spent time with her. Our prayers go out to her family and friends. Be at peace Alyssa.

I had class with Alyssa and we had the same circle of friends so I had consistently seen her at gatherings. She always had an energy that could fill a room and really just in every way an incredibly friendly and outgoing person in a way that was so otherworldly unexpected when meeting someone for the first time. It is so difficult to see our friends and loved ones endure loss in this way, it´s another to be the friend or family of one who has been lost. My condolences to the Fluet family and her close friends in the salem state theater department in this unexpected and tragic time

Words are hard to express the deep feelings of loss her family will feel for a very long time. Alyssa and Abby were awesome kids, so well rounded through their parents Mike and Diane. We love you all - hopefully we will see you soon and in the mean time we are sending you lots of love and a bear hug! Love Uncle Kevin and Aunt Julia
