Amador Covarrubias

Amador Covarrubias 91 passed away Aug 3, 2023. He was born on May 23, 1932, in Tampico Tamaulipas Mexico. He is survived by his Sisters Minerva, Ofelia and Clemencia, wife Maria Luisa, sons Fabian and Tenoch and his wife Irma, granddaughters Jazmine and Fabiola Giovana, grandsons Randy, Jose and Fabian II. Amador was a very dedicated man. He retired after 35 years in the road construction industry. Received a bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago. Thereafter, volunteered as a tutor for the Kannon Magnet Elementary school in Chicago IL. He was a lifetime student of continuing education. He was always providing a helping hand, was very humorous and brought joy to those around him. He enjoyed visiting his family in Mexico and exploring new places. Towards the end he was a member of a mariachi band and was one of the lead signers he learned to play guitar and was a songwriter. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will never be forgotten. Preceded in death by his daughter Veronica. Time of services: Wake is Aug 8 at 4pm – 8pm. Rosary 7pm.
