It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Amalio Valero Reyes, who peacefully left us on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the age of 79. Amalio was born on September 2, 1946, in Mexico to Jose Reyes and Constancia Reyes. Amalio was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, whose warmth, love, and joy will forever be remembered by all who knew him.
Amalio was the beloved husband of Maria Reyes, with whom he shared a life full of cherished memories. Amalio was the proud and loving father of Janette Yanes and husband Pat Yanes, Johnny Reyes and wife Cynthia Reyes, Daniel Reyes, Joe Reyes and Mark Reyes. He was also a cherished brother to Maria Reyes Levario, Juana Alvarez, Jose L. Reyes and Rosalinda Reyes. Amalio's love for his family knew no bounds, he was also a devoted grandfather to Jason Yanes, Farrah Casebolt, Daniela Rangel, Marina Dang, John Anthony Reyes, Alexandra Reyes, Jasmine Paredes, Mark A. Reyes Jr., Sonny Reyes, Kiara Cuestas and Jesse Sambrano.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Reyes and Constancia Reyes; grandparents, Maria and Juan Quiroz; and siblings, Catalina Herrera, Juan Reyes, Ramon Reyes, Roberto Reyes and Pedro Reyes
Rest in peace, Amalio. You are forever loved, and your spirit will remain in the hearts of your family and all who were blessed to know you.
