Greg T. Reyes, 73, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025. Greg was the cherished son of Gregorio Reyes and Cipriana T. Reyes. He was a devoted son, loving father, beloved brother, proud grandfather, and steadfast friend, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Cipriana and Gregorio Reyes, as well as his nephew, Shane Camacho; his niece, Veronica (Ronnie) Stevenson Lichnerowicz; his brother-in-law, Jessie Carreon; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He is survived by his three children: Christina Garcia, Kathleen Perez, and Greg Reyes and his wife Norma. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Kai and Keala Garcia, Lana and Tara Perez, and Adrien and Josh Reyes.
Greg is also survived by his loving siblings: brothers Ricardo Reyes and his wife Peggy, and Raul Reyes and his wife Anne; and sisters Maria Angie Carreon, Annie Morin, Nancy Gonzalez, and Monica Morales and her husband Mario. Additionally, he is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family was the foundation of Greg's life, providing him with invaluable strength and motivation during his courageous fight against cancer. Although he ultimately lost this battle, his spirit and love continue to inspire everyone who knew him.
Greg honorably served in the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1980, serving his country as a Vietnam-era veteran. His commitment to service and his unwavering spirit will always be remembered.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. In remembrance of Greg's life, may we carry forward his kindness, humor, and love for those around him.
