Mojolaoluwa Omotola Ojoyeyi, affectionately known as Mojolaoluwa by those who knew her best, was a radiant beacon of faith and love throughout her well-lived journey on this earth. Born on May 5, 1965, in the vibrant city of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, her life was a testament to the strength and grace that can only come from a heart filled with devotion and purpose. Mojolaoluwa's spirit transitioned peacefully on September 27, 2025, in the serene city of San Antonio, Texas, after a valiant battle with illness. Her legacy, however, remains an indelible mark on the lives she touched.

Mojolaoluwa's educational pursuits were as inspiring as her character. She was a diligent student who attended Government Secondary School in Nigeria, where she laid the foundations of her bright future. Her thirst for knowledge led her to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and later, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This dual expertise was a reflection of her multifaceted nature, combining a keen intellect with a compassionate heart.

Professionally, Mojolaoluwa's career was as impactful as her education was impressive. She embarked on a career in the banking industry in Nigeria, bringing integrity and excellence to every transaction and interaction. Her journey then led her to the United States, where she served as a Registered Nurse (RN), a role in which her caring nature found its true calling. Here, she not only healed bodies but also soothed souls, often leaving her patients with more hope than they had upon arrival.

A devout Christian, Mojolaoluwa's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. Her relationship with God was not just a belief but a way of life that she embraced wholeheartedly. She lived by the words of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This scripture was not only a source of personal motivation but also an encouragement she shared with others, embodying the spirit of a true motivational speaker.

Her interests were as diverse and rich as the life she led. Mojolaoluwa found immense joy in gospel music, a genre that both uplifted her and allowed her to express her deep-seated faith. Traveling was another passion, as she believed in the beauty of God's creation and reveled in the diversity of His people. Above all, her most cherished moments were those spent with her beloved husband, Thompson Oladepo Ojoyeyi. Together, they shared a bond that was both a friendship and a partnership, rooted in mutual respect and eternal love.

Mojolaoluwa's family was her pride and joy. She leaves behind a loving husband, Thompson Oladepo Ojoyeyi; a caring sister, Mrs. Ibidayo Soloye; her supportive brothers, Rev. Kunle Onasanya and Segun Onasanya; and she joins her late sister, Mrs. Abiodun Odufejo, in eternal rest. Her nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends and family members also survive her. Each of these individuals was a precious thread in the beautiful tapestry of her life.

As we celebrate the life of Mojolaoluwa Omotola Ojoyeyi, we are reminded of the profound impact one individual can have on the world. She was a woman who, through her actions and words, demonstrated that love is the greatest force we possess. Her life was a living sermon, one that preached kindness, resilience, and unwavering faith. As she often shared with those around her, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'" - a quote by Martin Luther King Jr. that Mojolaoluwa embodied every day.

In remembrance of Mojolaoluwa, let us carry forward the light of her spirit, the wisdom of her teachings, and the joy of her love. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, her spirit continues to guide, inspire, and motivate all who had the privilege to know her. Mojolaoluwa Omotola Ojoyeyi, your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
