TJ "Timothy" Griego

TJ (Timothy) Joshua Griego Sr., known affectionately to all as TJ, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, at the age of 52, in San Antonio, TX. Born on March 5, 1973, in Pleasanton, TX.

TJ was the beloved son of Guadalupe and Grace Griego, both of whom preceded him in death, leaving behind a legacy of love and family unity that TJ carried forward throughout his life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Adrienne, with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring partnership. He is also survived by their two wonderful children, Timothy Jr. (Gabby), and Jordyn, his grandson, Timothy III and TJ's daughter Seleste. TJ's role as a husband, father, and grandfather was the most treasured aspect of his life.

In addition to his immediate family, TJ leaves behind his sisters, Deidra (Enrique) and Cybil (Ashwin), who will remember him as the cornerstone of their family. His memory will also be held dear by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, who were all touched by his loving, thoughtful, and friendly nature.

TJ was a man whose presence was witty and funny. In addition to his love for his family, TJ's passion for life was paralleled by his love for sports. Whether it was cheering on his favorite teams or engaging in friendly debates with friends and family, TJ's enthusiasm was contagious. His other great joy was maintaining his yard.

As we say goodbye to TJ, we do so with heavy hearts, but also with profound gratitude for the time we were given with such an extraordinary man. His light will continue to shine in the lives of his family and friends, guiding us with the love and wisdom he imparted. TJ's journey on this earth may have ended, but his spirit lives on.
