It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our Mother Louise Gertrude McCord at the age of 81 years young on October 12, 2025. She was born in San Antonio, Texas March 12, 1944. She is survived by her Children Helen McCord and husband Burt Huble), Elizabeth Thompson, Julie Krueger and husband Terry and Jonathan McCord. Brothers: Walter F. Sifford of Lampasas, Tx. Richard Sifford and wife Brenda of San Antonio. David Sifford and wife Mary of San Antonio. Aileen Whited of Chino Valley, Arizona. She was blessed with many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her Husband Harold Myers of China Grove, Tx. Father and Mother Walter F. Sifford Sr. and Zelma L. Sifford. (Brothers) Alvin Sifford, Wayne Sifford and Weldon Sifford. She was devoted to many but the one devotion she exceeded was being our mother. Most of her life she was a single parent and we never had to do without. What we didn't have in material items, she fulfilled with love.
Mama always had a helping hand for anyone that needed her. She was a caretaker and caregiver her whole life.
She was deeply loved and will be missed.
Services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. At: FuneralCaringUSA® Baptist Temple Church 901E. Drexel Ave, San Antonio, Tx 78210
