Amanda Carroll Beverly

Amanda Carroll Beverly, 43, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away with her mom by her side on January 23rd. A vibrant and cherished member of her community, Amanda will be remembered for her love of literature, her adventurous spirit, and her warm heart.
Born on May 5, 1981, Amanda grew up in Winchester, where she graduated from George Rogers Clark High School in 1999. She continued her education at Centre College, earning her degree in 2003. A highlight of her college years was studying abroad in London, England, in 2002.
Growing up, Amanda was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winchester. She found her professional calling at Shaker Village, where she held several roles before becoming the guest services manager. Her passion for books led her to establish the Jane Austen Book Club at Joseph-Beth Bookstore. She was a lifetime member of the Jane Austen Society of North America and an active Kentucky DAR Transylvania Chapter member.
Amanda loved books, tea, baking, traveling, and all things Disney. She delighted in sharing her passions with others and could quickly recommend a book when asked.
She is survived by her mother, Dee Beverly; her sister, Sara Noble (Kevin); her beloved nieces, Taylor and Abby, and nephew, Blake. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins who cherished her deeply. Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Dan Beverly; her grandparents, Randy and Sara Gilliam and William and Mary Evelyn Beverly; her aunt, Elizabeth Himes; and her cousin, Camille Siragy.
In lieu of flowers, Amanda requested donations be made to Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. A visitation and service to celebrate her life will be held at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home on Main St. in Lexington on Saturday, February 1st. Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 with a service to follow. A burial will take place at a later date.
Amanda's legacy of kindness, curiosity, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
