Amanda Ann Hendricks, 41, of Central, wife of Shawn Allan Hendricks, passed away March 31, 2024.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of Trina Moore Adams and the late Jimmy Dean Broom. Amanda graduated from D.W. Daniel High School and then obtained her nursing degree from Tri-County Technical College. She enjoyed shopping, especially for her collection of Minky blankets. Amanda enjoyed camping at the beach with her family and following her children throughout their extracurricular activities.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, Shawn Allan Hendricks; children, Hunter Hendricks, Kaitlyn Hendricks, and Adalyn Hendricks; mother and step-father, Trina and Steven Adams; sisters, Jessica Stone and husband Robert of Six Mile, Tracy Broom Posey of Liberty, and Cindy Turner and husband Bryan of Dacusville; brothers, Dillon Broom and wife Treasa of Liberty, Josh Broom of Liberty, Jarred Brewer and wife Kristen of Spartanburg, and Hayden Brewer of Boiling Springs; grandparents, Lois and Davis Brown of Walhalla; mother-in-law, Linda Hendricks of Central; bonus mother, Paula White of Liberty; nieces, Karleigh Stone and Ashelie Garrison; nephew, Kaleb Stone.
Amanda is predeceased by her father, Jimmy Dean Broom, siblings, Jimmy Lee Broom and Tomi Melissa Broom; father-in-law, Dock Hendricks.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, Six Mile.
