Tony H. "Ploony" Craig
Tony H. "Ploony" Craig, 77, of Central, husband to the late Vicky Ann Hughes Craig, passed away February 9, 2025.
Born in Central, he was the son of Harold E. Craig and Edna Pauline Owen Craig.
Tony graduated from D.W. Daniel High School and entered the USArmy where he served in Viet Nam. Following his active duty service Tony continued his military service in the Army Reserves and retired after 22 years. Tony retired from Clemson University as an Associate Engineer and was a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church.
Tony was a very active member of the Central community he loved. He served many years on the Central Town Council, coached for many years with the Central Recreation Department and was a Mason
Mr. Craig is survived by his children, Michael Craig and his wife, Nancy of Central and Joey Craig of Central; grandchildren, Wade, Logan and Justin; and great grandchildren, Bayler, Aria, Riggins, Ruby, Dani and Nash.
A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central, SC.
