Amanda Roshal Jackson

Amanda R. Jackson, affectionately known as "LuLu" age 43, of Cairo, Illinois, was born on August 24, 1982, to Ms. Roshal Denise Jackson and the late Mr. Milton Baldwin. She was educated in the Cairo Public School System.

Amanda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, traveling, and caring for children. She was known for her loving spirit and dedication to those around her. A breast cancer survivor, Amanda was a true warrior and fighter whose strength inspired everyone who knew her.

Amanda transitioned from this life on Monday, January 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Baldwin, and her brothers, Darryl "Gulley" Jackson, Sr. and Robert Earl Williams.

Amanda leaves to cherish her loving memories her devoted mother, Roshal Denise Jackson; her "Pops," William "Billy" Thomas; her sisters, Shawana Jackson, Toria Jackson, and Teness Jackson, all of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; LeMaurria Baldwin of Chicago, Illinois; and Mary Williams and Vernetta Williams, both of Memphis, Tennessee.

She also leaves her brothers, Milton Baldwin and Terron Adkinson, both of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Cameron Purdiman and Milton Baldwin, Jr., both of Columbia, Missouri; William (Davina) Thomas of New York, New York; and Isaiah Thomas of Carbondale, Illinois, her special uncle, Lowell Johnson; her goddaughter, De'Azsia "Pooh" Lowe; her god sister, Bre'Anna Puckett-Woods; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives, and friends.

Services for Amanda R. Jackson will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Massie Funeral Home in Munds, IL 62964. Visitation is scheduled to begin at 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour of 12:00 P.M. Funeral service is scheduled to begin at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Dr. J.L. Posey, Sr. Officiating. The earthly place of rest will follow in the Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds, IL.
