Amanda was the wife of Michael D Javier, mother to Nathaniel and Raven, daughter of Sandra and the late Larry Killian, and sister to Larry Killian.
Amanda was born in Pittsburgh, grew up in the Stanton Heights neighborhood and lived in Bloomfield for the last 20 years. She worked as a nanny, worked downtown in government operations for Mellon Bank, and most notably, was a registered nurse for UPMC. Amanda was an avid cat lover, having many cats of her own throughout her life. She was also lover of Elmo from Sesame Street. Amanda had a giggle that made you smile and was a balance of seriousness and silliness that made her a great friend.
She is survived by her husband, Michael, their children Nathaniel and Raven, and her mother Sandra.
A viewing will be held at D'Alessandro Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd, Butler and 46th Sts., on Friday from 12 PM - 4 PM and Saturday from 12 PM - 4 PM.
