Amanda Noell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Heritage Cremation & Burial Society - Greater Canton Area on Feb. 26, 2026.
Amanda Rae Noell passed from this life on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, after a brief illness. She was born on May 22, 1982, and spent her life in Sheffield, Ohio, where she built deep roots among family, friends and community.

Amanda graduated from Brookside High School in 2001, where she enjoyed being in the choir, and carried with her a lifelong love of creativity and connection. She found joy in caring for animals, reading, country music and art. She liked spending weekends at Terrace Lakes Campground in Sullivan, Ohio, where she enjoyed camping, spending time with family and friends, and singing karaoke. Amanda cherished her online communities, especially her TNW Bingo, Dodger Twitter and Monopoly friends, where her warmth, humor, kindness and leadership touched people near and far. She enjoyed cheering for the Philadelphia Flyers hockey team, LA Dodgers and many Cleveland sports teams.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph, uncle, Paul Haddix, grandfather, Gary Winfield, great aunt, Debbie Willcox and stepsister Deana Noell-Hixon.

Amanda is survived by her loving and devoted mom, Diane (Winfield), her best friend and brother, Tyler, adoring grandmother Carol (Winfield), cherished uncles and aunts, Gary Jr. Winfield (Jane), Scott Winfield (Linda), Rosalie Sue (Noell) Haddix, Roger Noell (Marie), stepsister Lura Ross, half-brothers, John Noell (Nita) and Matthew Noell, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Beau, who was a constant companion and source of comfort.

Amanda will be remembered as a gentle and compassionate person who faced life's challenges with strength and grace. She formed lasting friendships, cared deeply for those she loved, always enjoyed a good book and had a special tenderness for animals. Her kindness and quiet resilience left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

Private family services will be held. The family is grateful for the love and support shared during this time.

In honor of Amanda's love for animals and her desire to support children with hearing impairments, memorial donations may be made to Friendship Animal Protective League at friendshipapl.org or the Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center at www.chsc.org.

Amanda will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
