On August 2, 2024, the world lost a beloved soul as Amanda Olveda, , passed away in her hometown of Eloy Arizona. Born on June 26, 1982, to Maria Rodrigues Olveda and Roy Valenzuela Renteria, her presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew her.
Amanda found solace and joy in life's simple pleasures - solving puzzles, diving into crosswords, tuning into that music that touched her soul, laughing along with funny movies, relishing meals out, and indulging in the joy of shopping. Among her treasures was a special place in her heart for Mickey and Minnie Mouse; her collection of puzzles, backpacks, and mementos spoke volumes of this cherished bond.
In the tapestry of family and friends that Amanda embraced so dearly, she was a beacon of love and kindness. Her siblings and extended family held a special place in her heart; the desire to be reunited with them was a constant thread woven through the fabric of her being. Surrounded by numerous friends and companions who cherished her presence, Amanda's spirit shone brightly wherever she went.
Amanda is preceded in death by her loving parents Maria Olveda and Roy Renteria. She leaves behind a lasting legacy in the hearts of her siblings - Sandra Marie Olveda, Roy Olveda, Benito Olveda, Jerry Montijo Olveda, and Crystle Montijo - all residents of Eloy, Arizona; as well as a host of nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
To honor Amanda's memory and celebrate the life she lived with such grace and love, a visitation will be held at Valley Chapel in Eloy on Friday, August 9 at 5:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM. On Friday, August 16 at 9:00 AM, graveside services will take place at Eloy Memorial Park.
In this time of grief and remembrance, let us find solace in the memories we hold dear. Amanda's light will forever shine bright in our hearts.
