Randall Lee Thompson, born December 14, 1952, in Michigan, passed away at his home in Eloy, Arizona on July 19, 2025, at the age of 73. Randy was the son of Martha (Rider) Thompson and Johannas Thompson. He spent his early years in Hastings, Michigan, where he attended Hastings Area Schools before graduating from Morley Stanwood High School in 1971. In his younger years, Randy tended bars at local favorites such as The Office in Hastings. Later, he became a skilled tradesman, working for Hastings Piston Ring and High Decker Wheatly. Randy shared the best part of his life with his wife, Jacqueline (Remley) Thompson, and after Jackie's passing, Randy moved to Arizona in 2010 to be closer to his siblings. Randy was a proud member of the Moose Lodge in Hastings, recently celebrating 45 years of membership. He was an avid outdoorsman-hunting, fishing, and collecting firearms were among his favorite pastimes. He had a deep love for Harley-Davidsons, and he cherished the adventures he and his sweetheart Jackie took together, especially in Mexico. He found peace and contentment at his homestead in Yuma, surrounded by the Sawtooth Mountains. Randy is survived by his sons, Christopher Todd Thompson and Matthew John (Leah) Thompson; his grandchildren, Samantha (Daniel) Beuhler, Danielle Thompson, Matthew Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Hayden Thompson, and Nick Thompson; and his sisters, Vickie Hirons and Sandra Bowman. Randy is preceded in death by his sweetheart, Jacqueline (Remley) Thompson; his parents, Martha and Johannas Thompson; and his brothers, Dewayne "Art" Thompson, Ronald Thompson, Mike Thompson, and Fredrick "Andy" Thompson. A celebration of Randy's life will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Delton Moose Lodge, 5420 Mooselodge Drive, Delton, MI 49046. Arrangements by Girrbach Funeral Home.
