Of North Versailles, formerly of Trafford, age 72, passed away unexpectedly on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 8, 2022.
Born the daughter of the late Morton Wilson and the late Mary Jane (King) Wilson.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Pribanic.
Loving mother of Joe (Donna) Pribanic of Jeannette and William (Melissa) Pribanic of Port Vue.
Cherished grandmother of Sydney, Derek, Monica, Brenna, Sara, and Sawyer Pribanic.
Dear sister of Gehrig (Janice) Wilson, William Wilson, Marianne (Jody) Skvarla, and Morton "Bud" (Evelyn) Wilson.
Sister-in-law of Joanne Wycoff and Gerald (Georgia) Pribanic.
Also survived by many special adored nieces and nephews.
Amanda was born and raised in the town of Wilmerding and was a 1967 graduate of Westinghouse Memorial High School. She married her soul mate, Joe, who grew up just one street over from where Amanda lived, also where they would later reside together in the Pribanic family childhood home. Amanda worked as a customer service representative for State Farm Insurance Co. for over 30 years, and also served as a sales associate for J.P. Thermal for several years. She was an avid traveler, and especially loved traveling to Ocean City, N.J., Savannah G.A., and Disney. Amanda treasured nothing more in life than spending time with her precious family, her cats, and feeding wildlife. She will forever be remembered by those that knew her as a selfless, kind-hearted, compassionate soul that always put the needs of others before her own.
Friends are welcome Thursday from 10a.m. to 12 noon at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350, where a Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 12 noon.
Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, 1000 Liberty Ave. #1606, Pgh., PA 15222 -OR- Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Pgh., PA 15237.
