She was born in Searcy, AR. She graduated from High School in Beebe, AR. When Amanda was 28 years old she gave birth to a beautiful daughter named Faith, whom was taken from her all to soon at the age of 2. Amanda rebounded from tragedy and in the early 2000’s she soon found a new purpose in acting. It was around this time that she found her way back to Texas. She became an accomplished actress/producer/ director who stared in many short films and tv such as and “murder made me famous” and the “amazing race.” A series of severe medical issues manifested soon after that hindered her acting career. She found herself facing several catastrophic medical complications that put her in a wheelchair. However, Amanda’s radiating positive attitude and steel determination allowed her face these problem head on. With the loving support of her husband Colt, her pet cat, Oscar, and her loyal service dog, Glamour, Amanda advanced forward through setback after setback. Amanda found fulfillment in creating and forming a thriving cake business named Dragonfly Sweet Dreams. Nothing brought her greater joy than the look on peoples faces once they saw and tasted her creations.
Amanda lost the battle with her chronic medical conditions in 2026. She is survived by her husband Colt Richardson of 7+ years and her service dog Glamour II, her father Ronnie Gann, her mother Debbie Gann and her brothers and sisters.
Amanda can now rest and is finally able to reunite with her late daughter Faith. The most difficult path lies ahead for the rest of us, who must continue forward in shadow of her blinding light.
