Amanda "Mandy" Christine VanSickle passed away on August 11th 2025.

Family has chosen to not have a traditional funeral for Amanda, and instead are having a Celebration of Life on August 30th from 2:00-5:00 (?) at Southeastway Park, Shelter 6.

Amanda was born in Indianapolis on January 1st 1977 a "New Years baby"

She attended Franklin Central HS.

Amanda was employed at Communitas property management where her and her sister, Dawn were fortunate to work together during this time.

We'd like to thank Tara and Mel for their compassion and support they've shown.

Amanda met Chris Shoots in High School where something slow but beautiful blossomed. They circled around each other for years unknowingly after losing touch. Eventually they found their way back to each other and found an inseparable love. The kind of love she had always been looking for. Amanda would light up when Chris entered the room and he stuck by her side and fought for her every step of the way. Amanda was happily engaged to the man of her dreams Christopher Shoots, before her untimely passing.

Amanda is survived by…
