William Clarence Griffith

William Clarence “Bill” Griffith, age 85, of Plainfield passed away on March 9, 2026 in his residence. He was born on April 9, 1940 in Acton, In. to the late William W. and Vera Mae Evans Griffith. He married Audrey Geisking on April 9, 1960; she survives. He graduated from Franklin Central High School, served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964. Bill worked for Allison’s Transmission in Speedway as a machine operator for 25 years until his retirement.

Memorial visitation will take place on Thursday March 19, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife Audrey Griffith Son: Ron Griffith. Sister: Judy Meyer (Alviey). He was preceded in death by a son Tony Griffith and a brother Dick Griffith.
