Amara Evette Lugo, of Camden, passed away on Sunday, July 27,2025 after a courageous battle against stage 4 brain cancer. She was 9yrs old, born December 18,2015. The incredible daughter of Kiara Hill and Matthew Lugo. Amara was a third grade student at Camden's Pride Charter School. She was a bright student who adored her Pride family and friends. The staff not only made an impact on Amara's life but also her family's. Thanks to the dedication to their jobs and love for Amara she was able to fight an incredible fight! She was nothing short of a blessing. Amara was very strong, kind, loving, empathetic, and independent young girl. She made long lasting impacts on the lives of others. And blessed us all with memories to last us a lifetime. Amara carried so much joy and love with her. The same joy and love we will now carry along with the beautiful memories she left us with. Amara is survived by her mother, Kiara Hill, father, Matthew Lugo, 2 sisters, her grandparents, cousins, aunts & uncles. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her outdoor visitation in the backyard fish pond at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mt. Holly on Tuesday, August 5th from 10-11 AM. A memorial service will follow at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made directly to the family.
