Amber Jean Allen, a beloved daughter, partner, and mother, passed away on August 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 3, 1993, in Roseau, Minnesota, to parents Preston and Kerry (Nagle) Allen.
Amber lived a life of adventure. In her younger years she called many places home, including Warroad, Grand Rapids, and Crookston, Minnesota, and Santa Ana, California, before settling in Grand Forks, North Dakota in 2014.
Over the span of her career, Amber achieved remarkable success, becoming a manager at Britton Transport within just six years. Her dedication and work ethic were truly admirable.
Amber’s passions extended beyond her career. She found joy in cross-stitching and had a flair for decorating, transforming spaces with her creative touch. Her love of planning brought her family together, for holidays and celebrations that became cherished memories. However, her greatest joy came from her role as a mother to her cherished son, Carter. Amber dedicated herself to motherhood with her longtime partner, Giovanni Clark, with unwavering love and commitment.
Amber is survived by her significant other, Giovanni Clark; son, Carter Clark; parents, Kerry and Preston Allen; brothers, Adam Allen, Alex Allen, and Jesse Allen; and many other beloved family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jack and Dorothy Allen, and aunt, Alice Blade.
Amber’s presence in our lives has left an irreplaceable void, but her memory will continue to inspire us all. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and most of all, her boundless love for her family. In our hearts, Amber will always be a guiding light, a true testament to resilience and love.
