Amber Lynn Johnston Burgess, 50, of Ward went to be with the Lord peacefully at home in her sleep, Wednesday, June 25, 2025. She was born February 15, 1975, in Blytheville to Judy Foster Johnston and the late Charles Johnston.
Amber was a 1993 graduate of Beebe High School. She and her husband, Brandon, co-owned Campground Grill in Austin. Amber was a loving mother to Braeden Burgess, who was always her number one focus in life and a loving wife and teammate to the love of her life, Brandon Burgess. She always looked forward to shopping trips to Branson with her mother, Judy Johnston. She and her mother were best friends and there was not a single day they did not talk on the phone. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Johnston; paternal grandparents, Eldon and Eula Johnston and maternal grandfather, Cloyes Foster.
Amber is survived by her husband of 22 years, Brandon Burgess; son, Braeden Burgess; mother, Judy Foster Johnston; two brothers, Will Johnston, Jr. (Amy) and Robert Johnston; maternal grandmother, Helen Foster Powers; niece, Lexi Johnston; aunts and uncles, John and Jean Grady and David and Lori Henson as well as many other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2025 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the funeral home with burial following at Hicks Cemetery. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
