Bennington- Amber Marie Chapman, 39, a resident of Bennington, Vermont passed away on November 2nd, 2022.
Born on September 10, 1983, in Arizona, she was the daughter of John M. Chapman and Laura Garcia (Metcalfe). In early years, Amber moved around with her family living in Turkey; Alexandria, Louisiana; and Killeen, Texas. She received her education in Texas and Had her first child; Juan Miquel Garcia. She then had her second child; Isela Otero, and moved with her mother to Ft. Drum, New York. She then moved to Virginia and finally settled here in Bennington, Vermont.
Ambers main interests were her Children; Juan and Isela. Who will miss her dearly. She also enjoyed drawing, frogs, roses, and horror movies. She loved visiting Lake Paran, playing football with family, and singing with Isela. Amber was also a New York Jets fan.
Survivors include her children; Juan Miquel Garcia (Cassie), and Isela Otero. Her grandchildren; Kinzlee and Leilani. Her brothers; Aaron Wong, Tim Vandeville Jr., Steven Chapman, Johnny Chapman, As well as, a sister; Stacy Smith. Amber is also survived by her parents Laura Garcia (John) and John M. Chapman (Cathy) as well as many nieces nephews and cousins.
The family plans for a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
