Amelia Liddell Obituary

Published by CLOSED-Tennessean Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Feb. 14, 2013.
Amelia Ann Carmichael, Born on this day February 12th 1954, to Harris and Lois Carmichael died on this day Valentine's Day February 14th 2013 at 10:15 A.M. surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving wife and mother who is survived by her husband Vernon Haney Liddell of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and her two sons Stacy Obrian Liddell and Joshua Jeremiah Liddell. Her three brothers Jerry Carmichael of Wylie Texas, Alton Carmichael of Plainview Texas, and Danny Carmichael of Lubbock Texas and her many nieces and nephews! Amelia went from grade school through high school in Wellman Texas, a graduate of Welllman high school. She went on to study at Texas Tech University and graduated with a bachelor's degree of Education. Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free! I follow the plan God laid for me. I saw His face, I heard His call, I took His hand and left it all... I could not stay another day, To love, to laugh, to work or play; Tasks left undone must stay that way. And if my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss... Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss. My life's been full, I've savored much: Good times, good friends, a loved-one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief— Don't shorten yours with undue grief. Be not burdened with tears of sorrow, Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.
