She will be remembered as a loving life partner, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose devotion to her family and community touched many lives.
Amelia is survived by her beloved life partner, Hector Villagomez; her daughters Sandra Cancino and Elisabet Contreras; her sons Christian Cancino and Juan Cancino; 19 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on in their hearts.
For 25 years, Amelia dedicated herself to her work at Inova Hospital's food service department, where she served with commitment and compassion. She will be fondly remembered by her colleagues and all who knew her.
Visitation and funeral services will take place at Direct Cremation Services of Virginia, 4425 Brookfield Corporation Dr, #100, Chantilly, VA 20151.
• Visitation : 10:00 am - 12:00 Noon
• Funeral service : 12:00 pm
• Reception: will take place at 5501 Sully Park Dr, Centreville, VA 20120 from 1:00 pm -3:00 pm
