Amelia Mae Williams Street, age 93, of Hughes Gap Road in Bakersville, the Buladean community, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025 at her home.
Born in Rock Hill, SC on May 24, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Scott and Angie Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Street and her sisters; Mary, Bonnie, June and Shirley.
Amelia was a member of the Roan Mountain Seventh Day Adventist Church. She loved reading religious themed material. She enjoyed walking, cooking, baking cakes and cookies.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons; Dennis Street and wife, Hilda of Bakersville, Gary Street and wife, Norma of Columbia, MD and Michael Street and Donna Street Holt of Bakersville, her grandchildren; Crystal, Steven and Johnathan, and her great grandchildren; Brendan, Landan and Katlan and Gracie.
Graveside services and interment will be on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Charlie and Frances Street Cemetery.
