Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Kent-Forest Lawn Chapel for Mr. Larry Street, age 70, of
Panama City, Florida, who went home to be with the Lord in his hometown on Monday, November 3, 2025. Rev. Bobby Thompson will officiate the service. Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral will direct the services.
Larry was born and raised in Panama City, he lived a life full of love, faith and devotion to his family and community. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Gaylon Street and a proud father to his children, Tommy Crutchfield, Larry Street, Jr. and Daniel Street. Larry was also the cherished grandfather of eleven grandchildren, each of whom brought him great joy and pride. His love for his family was evident in everything he did and he took special pride in the time he spent with his grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Gary Street and Jerry Street, as well as a large circle of family and friends who will miss him dearly. Larry was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Street.
Larry retired from the city of Panama City from the Sanitation Department, where he worked faithfully as a garbage truck driver. Known for his honesty, kindness and strong work ethic, he was admired and loved by everyone who knew him. A man of deep faith, Larry was a dedicated member of Callaway Assembly of God Church. He loved Jesus and lived his life according to God's Word, serving as an example of integrity, humility and love. Larry's legacy of faith, family and friendship will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home and the service will be live streamed on Kent-Forest Lawn's website for those who wish to watch who are unable to attend in person.
