Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. A faithful member of Tucker Missionary Baptist Church since 1963, Amelia served diligently as President of the Women's Department and the Choir, and as a trusted advisor to the pastors. Her commitment to her church family and her unwavering devotion left a lasting impact on generations of members. Amelia will be remembered for her grace, strength, leadership, and the warmth she extended to all who knew her. Her legacy of faith, service, and love will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Daisy, Bernice, and Elizabeth; brothers, Willie, Albert, Flozell, Paul, Hurie, and Simon.
