Amir E. Bullock

Amir was called Home by our Heavenly Father on February 28th, 2026 at 6:53 PM. We are left to hold in our hearts the wonderful times we had together, especially the deep and most of the time hilarious talks. This has truly broken our hearts.

Amir E. Bullock was born July 16, 1984 to Delisa Bullock. Amir was born in Newark Beth Israel Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.

Amir was the first child for his mother, the first grandchild, the first great grandchild, the first nephew. Amir was the love of their lives and in 2003 he became a first time father and in 2020 a first time uncle. He loved every bit of being the first love for all.

Amir received his high school diploma from Alif Nia-Mohammad High School in Newark, NJ. Before falling ill, Amir worked as a janitor at Bloomingdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bloomingdale, NJ. He loved his job and took pride in doing it.

Amir loved hanging with his sons for movie time and shopping for sneakers, along with PS5 video gaming. He enjoyed being with his family for crab boils (which he was great at making) and cookouts (he believed he was the grill master). Amir also loved his music, especially Tupac. He loved being with his fiancée and creating a home filled with love and memories for their twin sons and her cooking (which she spoiled him with). Amir truly loved his talks with his mother or just laying on her bed for comfort. Amir took great pride in being the best father by being a protector and provider and spending quality time with his children.

Amir was preceded in death by: his great grandmother, Lucy Davis; his aunt, Latoya Bullock; and his God-brother, Tamar Harris.

Amir is survived by: his mother, Delisa Bullock; his stepfather, Jaguar Toussaint; his grandmother, Sylvia McSwain; his sons, Amir Yasin, Rahmir and Zahmir Bullock; his brother, Quamain Bullock; his fiancée, Charneiqua Leeks; a bonus daughter, Aaziyah Williams his niece, Tehani Bullock; his Godmother, Robin Harris; his Goddaughter, Nevaeh Harris; his aunties, Deborah Baldwin and Sakinah Walker; his uncle, Terrell Scott; his cousins, Adison Coleman, Tyquan Walker and Shadea Crumbley. Amir was also blessed with: his stepchildren, Bryanna Leeks and Ti-tyanna Leeks; step grandbabies, Khylie Tucker and Aries Neal; and a bonus son-in-law, Jericho Neal.
