Amos Allen Cloud Sr was born September 1, 1939 at a log cabin house in Riverside, Montana. He was born to Agnes Ownspipe, Joseph Cloud and Ernest Longee. Dad was given the name "Chaske" First Boy at a young age. He was also well known for his nickname Buster.
Amos grew up in Poplar, Montana and Cannonball, North Dakota. He also lived in Denver, Colorado at a later age. He went to school in Poplar and Cannonball and went onto to getting a degree in mechanics and becoming a certified mechanic. He worked on cars throughout his years but also worked as a Security Guard at A&S Industries for many years.
Amos met Cheryl Melbourne and were married on December 16, 1978 in Poplar. Together they had 5 children, they also raised a son together and a daughter from a previous relationship.
Dad was a family man, first and foremost. Always putting family first. He was there when needed at any given time. His passion for working on cars with his brothers and sons and listening to Indian music. Watching wrestling and his biggest joy in life was spending time with his children and his grandchildren. He would always say Who would have thought I would be here long enough to see my grandkids and great grandkids. He loved being "Ole Papa" and "Papa Buster".
Amos is survived by his children Dana Mireau, Amos Cloud Jr., Joseph and Britney Cloud, Stephanie Cloud and Sandra and Collins Ownspipe. Brothers Emerson "Andy" Ownspipe, and Steve and Violet Bird, Maynard and Rose Longee, and Lawrence Longee. Sister Corlene and John Kraus-Bird. Busters pride and joys Logan Cloud, Cheryl and Hayleigh Eagle, Codi and Isabella Jones, Bryson, Kokipasni "Soni", Connor, and Preston Ownspipe, William Ricker Jr., Melody Demarrias, Dana, Derek, Alii, Rumiko, Muriko Mireau, Jessica Payne, Alex Bull Calf and Erik Williams
Great grandchildren Daylen and Nicosia Ownspipe, Kingston Ownspipe, Niko Black Duck, Micah King Bear Hill, Rileigh Bear, Crystal Burshia, Alayna Comes Last, Madison Payne, Eli Steele and another bundle of joy on the way. Special friend Leanne Loves Him and his fur baby boy Charlie Buckets Ownspipe.
Amos is preceded in death by his wife Cheryl Cloud, Parents Agnes Ownspipe, Joseph Cloud and Ernest Longee, Grandparents Red String and Chief Black Duck, Daughters Jeri Cloud and Violet Comes Last, Grand Daughter Kayleigh Jones. Siblings Nelson and Serena Bird, Carolyn Henry, Zelda Ownspipe, Jeannette Red Stone, Ernest, Darlene, Diane, and Russell Longee. Paula Melbourne, Renee Dupree, Beulah Granbois, Lionel and Gayle Johnson, Shep and Arlene Ferguson, Manuel and Aleta Melbourne, Clifford Melbourne and Vermae and Bill Taylor.
Dad, your time here is done. You rest in perfect paradise. Thank you for the time you spent with us, the unconditional love and endless attention. You left us with many memories that we will cherish forever. Until we see you again, love you dad from deep down in our hearts and souls Thank You!!
