Amy E. Aldridge, passed away on January 4th, 2025, at the age of 64.
Amy retired from Ascension Parish Library after 42 years. She loved to read books and travel with her friends and family.
Amy is survived by her sisters, Nancy Aldridge, Tassy Aldridge, and Trudy Parrish; brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Penny Aldridge; brother-in-law, Jerry Justice; 8 nieces and nephews; 10 great-nieces and great-nephews; traveling buddy Kathleen Battles; and many other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Coy Aldridge; mother, Emily Aldridge; sisters, Tammy Justice and Libby Aldridge; brother, Gary Aldridge; Niece, Christy Aldridge; grandmother, Della Himel; and godfather, Donald Haydel.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14th, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville, from 12:00pm until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm in the church. Burial will follow at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park.
A reception will follow the burial at St. John Activity Center.
The family request no flowers and donations may be made to St. Jude’s.
