Amy Arnette Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carolina Cremation Service - Salisbury on Jan. 2, 2026.
Amy Marie Arnette, 34, of Salisbury, North Carolina, passed away on December 26, 2025. Though her time here was far too short, the love, laughter, and light she brought into the lives of others will last forever.

Amy was preceded in death by both of her parents, whom she loved deeply. She leaves behind her greatest joy, her daughter, Lydia Garcia, and her beloved grandchild, Mateo, who brought her immense pride and happiness. She is also survived by her two sisters, Amber Price and Christina Gutierrez, who will forever cherish the bond they shared.

Amy was a natural comedian, always finding a way to make those around her laugh-often when they needed it most. Her humor was effortless, her timing perfect, and her laughter contagious. She had a heart as big as the universe and was a true giver. No matter how small it seemed, Amy always wanted to give something-whether it was a thoughtful gesture, a kind word, or simply her time.

Writing was one of Amy's greatest passions, a place where her creativity and emotions came alive. She loved the color purple, had a well-known love for mayonnaise (an inside joke that will always bring a smile), and embraced the little quirks that made her unmistakably Amy.

Above all, Amy loved deeply and prayed continually for goodness and success in the lives of Emily, Israel, Abigail, and Gabriel. Her prayers, love, and hopes for them remain part of her lasting legacy.

Amy's life reminds us to laugh more, give freely, love fiercely, and never underestimate the power of a kind heart. She will be missed beyond words and remembered always.
