Amy Tod Box, age 45, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 23, 2022, at her home. She was born in Harrison County, on October 5, 1976, to Terry and Charlotte W. Box.
She is survived by her parents and three brothers, Charlie (Jennifer) Box, Tyler (Blair) Box, Luke Box; a sister, Susan (Derek) Box Viens; seven nieces and nephews, Kendall Box, Matthew Box, Hadley Box, Charlotte Box-Lacey, Nila Viens, Levy Viens, Silas Viens; a special friend, Betty Adamson; as well as many aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Amy graduated from Harrison County High School in 1999 and was a lifelong member of St. Edward Church. She was an avid member of the Cynthiana community, working at Walmart for 22 years, attending countless sporting events over the years, and being a special friend to several coaches. She participated in the Special Olympics and loved any events that allowed her to talk and laugh with family and friends. She loved to sing and watch movies while spending time with family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2022, at 12:00 PM, at St. Edward Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM, at Ware Funeral Home. Father Niby Kannai will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Edward Catholic Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Gathering on Saturday following the funeral service at Cynthiana Christian Church Fellowship Hall. Pallbearers are Charlie Box, Luke Box, Tyler Box, Derek Viens, Matthew Box, and Kendall Box. Contributions may be made to St. Edward Building Fund, 107 N Walnut St., Cynthiana, KY.
