Amy Louise Goode, 81, of Decatur went to be with her Lord Sunday, January 4th, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Graveside Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at Pleasant Grove #1 Cemetery. George Watson will officiate. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Louise as everyone called her was born February 20th, 1944 to Ammie Roy and Mary Loyce (Lynn) Watson in San Saba, Texas. She was united in marriage August 4th, 1961 to Donald Kennith Goode in Decatur, Texas. Louise was a retired heavy machine operator after many years in the manufacturing industry. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will dearly miss her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 47 years, Donald Goode; a grandson, Eric Doyle; 2 son-in-laws, Jimmy Baker and Kenneth Woodruff.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, LaNesa Stanley, Donna Baker, and Cynthia Woodruff all of Decatur; a son, Steven Keith Goode of Decatur; 13 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Alton Roy Watson of Regency and Kenneth Watson of Sunset; extended family members and a host of friends.
