Darrin Goode Obituary
Darrin lived most of his life in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma, and was a proud member of the Albion Baptist Church. As a young boy he developed a great love of the outdoors. Darrin enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, and the peace that came with being surrounded by nature. He could often be found spending hours hunting or sitting with a pole in his hand waiting patiently for the next big catch. Darin also had a passion for music and loved to spend time playing his guitar.
Darrin answered the call to serve his country in 1994, by joining the United States Army. Over the course of a distinguished twenty-four-year career, he retired as an E7.
Darrin married the love of his life Rachael, on his 26th birthday, May 25, 1994. Together they built a beautiful life raising their five children.
Following his retirement from the United States Army, Darrin's commitment to protect and serve never wavered. He proudly worked as a Deputy for the Pushmataha County Sheriffs office for ten years.
Darrin's greatest joy was spending time with his family, making memories with his children and grandchildren.
Left to cherish Darrin's memory is his wife, Rachael Goode of Lindsay, Oklahoma, his son, Connor Goode of Bray, Oklahoma, his daughters, Daley Goode of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Alyssa and John Youngblood of Metlakatla, Alaska, Trinity Goode of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Vaeh Goode of Lindsay, Oklahoma, his grandchildren, Luna Staton, Lakota Eduvign, and Bodhi Youngblood.
Darrin is preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Goode Sr. and Charlcie Jean (Holloway) Goode, and his brother, James Edward Goode Jr.
There is no service scheduled at this time.
