Mrs. Amy Jo Wagoner Mickle, age 68, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at her residence. She was born on June 27, 1957, to Harold Lee and Billie Jo Alexander Wagoner.
She enjoyed doing cross-stitch and needlepoint crafts.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Mickle.
Survivors include: her sons, Michael Fletcher and wife Sabrina of Mocksville, Marcus Fletcher and wife Ashley of King, and Matthew Mickle of Elkin; daughter, Lauren Mickle of Elkin; brother, Peegie Wagoner of State Road; sister, Gina Brendle of Elkin; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Fletcher, Abigail Fletcher, Brieanna Fletcher, Christopher Fletcher, Sara Fletcher, and Baylee Wyatt; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Mark Reece officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Elkin Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted, and the family would like to extend their gratitude to Gentiva Hospice for the care and support provided.
