Amy Ann Moede, a beloved and devoted mother, wife, and cherished member of her community, left this world unexpectedly on September 25, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on February 8, 1974, in Wheatland, Wyoming, Amy was known for her loving spirit, adventurous heart, and fierce protectiveness over her family and friends.
Graduating with an Associate's degree in 2009, followed shortly thereafter by a Bachelor's in Human Services, Amy dedicated her life to serving others. Amy faithfully attended Rawlins Cooperative Parish virtually the last few months and oved the Lord greatly. She was looking forward to being well enough to attend in person and join the church. Her contributions to God and to the community were profound, embodying her commitment to kindness and support.
Amy delighted in the joys of life, especially spending time outdoors. She loved going camping, riding her four-wheeler, and going target shooting, pursuits that reflected her adventurous spirit. Her creativity shone through in her hobbies, particularly in sewing and crafting, where she poured her love into making beautiful things for her family and friends. There was no greater joy for Amy than sharing moments with her beloved dogs, who brought her endless love and companionship.
She was a woman who could light up a room with her infectious humor and warmth, always bringing laughter and joy wherever she went. Amy's legacy is one of love, compassion, and a deep commitment to her family. She is survived by her loving wife, Tabitha Moede, and their cherished children, John, Henry, Matthew, Noah, Sebastan, and Jaymie. She is also survived by her ex-husband, Joe Stokes, along with their children Amanda and Johnie, Nick and Nicole, and numerous others who were fortunate enough to know her.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Jane Moede, and her mother-in-law, Vivien Stokes. Their memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
As we remember Amy, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. Her spirit will continue to inspire us to embrace each moment and cherish our loved ones deeply, just as she did.
