Nancy C. Moede

Nancy C. Moede, age 89, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 29, 1936, in Shawano, Wisconsin to Reuben and Florence (Kruse) Klitzke.

Nancy married Allan Moede on February 16, 1957 at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano, WI, and together they shared 57 years of love and happiness until Al's passing in 2014.

Nancy was a devoted homemaker and a talented artist, known for her creativity and warmth. She was a wonderful mother, a gifted gardener, and a skilled craft maker who found joy in creating beauty in everyday life. A longtime member of Faith Lutheran Church, she faithfully served on many committees over the course of 60 years and built lifelong friendships through her dedication and service.

She is survived by her three children: Scott (Michelle) Moede, Mark Moede (fiancée Karen), and Lisa (Manny) Stagakis; grandchildren: Lauren (Wil) Knight, Marina (Chris) Darling, McKenna Moede, Kendall Moede (fiancé Jackson), and Kyla (Rodrigo) Marcondes; and great-grandchildren: Henrik and Skylar Knight and Julia and Colin Darling.

Nancy is also survived by her brother, Gary Klitzke; two sisters, Kathy Kuhn and Sue (Lloyd) Knope; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan; parents, Reuben and Florence Klitzke; her parents-in-law, Edwin and Frieda Moede; sister-in-law Betty Klitzke; brother-in-law David Kuhn; sister-in-law Delores (Moede) Schmidt; brother-in-law Harold Schmidt and nephew Jeff Klitzke.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tues December 9th, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S. Webster Ave., Green Bay, WI. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joshua Errer officiating.
