Amy Jean Riley, 66, of Quarryville, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Lancaster General Hospital.
Born in Lancaster, she was raised in Peach Bottom on a small farm. She was the daughter of the late Gwyn D. and Charlotte V. (Bussell) Dickson.
Amy was a graduate of Solanco High School. She dedicated over 40 years of her life to Weis Markets, where she worked as a Bakery Manager. Amy was known for her strong work ethic and spent her life as a hardworking and dedicated employee. Amy had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. Her dogs were like her children and brought her great joy throughout her life. Earlier in her life, she also worked on a racing horse farm.
She is survived by her son, John Riley; and her siblings, Susan, Sarah, Richard (Shirley), and Bryan Dickson.
Services are being held privately at the request of the family.
