Amy St. Ours Obituary

Amy E. St Ours, beloved wife, mother, Nana, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully after a sudden but brief illness, surrounded by her family and loved ones on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Born with a heart made for caring, Amy devoted her life to children—her own, her granddaughter, and the countless students whose lives she shaped as a special education teacher at Fairgrounds Elementary. Her Fairgrounds family was an extension of her own, and her dedication, patience, and boundless love touched every child who was lucky enough to learn from her.

Amy was a lifelong lover of Disney, cooking, and creating joy for others. Her kitchen was always filled with warmth, laughter, and something delicious on the stove. She believed in the magic of never growing up, and she passed that sense of wonder on to everyone around her. Some of her happiest moments were spent taking her granddaughter Mina on Disney adventures, watching her shine at sports and activities, and building memories that will last a lifetime.

She also loved spending weekends at car shows with Scott, proudly showing off their classic 1967 Mustang—affectionately known as “Sally.” Those days, surrounded by friends, engines, and sunshine, were some of her favorite ways to make memories.

And of course, Amy adored her dog Kodiak, who—let’s be honest—held the biggest piece of her heart. Their bond was pure joy, comfort, and unconditional love.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years and high school sweetheart, Scott; her children, Caitlyn (and her husband Dan) and Matthew; and her beloved granddaughter, Mina. She is also survived by her mother Deborah, father Philip, her brother Kevin and his wife Laura and their children Ian and Emily, and her sister Heather. Amy leaves behind many cherished extended family members, colleagues, students, and friends whose lives she enriched through her love, laughter, and unwavering kindness.

Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her—in the children she taught, the family she adored, and the magic she brought into the world every day.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 3-5pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 26 Kinsley Street in Nashua, immediately followed by a funeral service at 5pm.
