Age 62

Born January 15th, 1963 in Jackson MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 19th, 2025 at her home in Rogers MN.

Amy grew up in Jackson MN and graduated from Jackson High School in 1981. She started her nursing degree in Rochester and graduated from Hennepin Tech. As a lifelong dedicated caretaker she had a long career in nursing at multiple facilities, including Hopkins Care Center and the Wellstead of Rogers. She went on to be licensed as a massage therapist and ran a therapy program at the Wellstead offering comfort and compassion to many clients.

She loved the Minnesota State Fair, always going three or four times. She could be found at the creative arts or livestock buildings, seeing the sights and appreciating the chickens.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Eldon Lloyd.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Craig; children, Nicholas (Danielle), and Emily (James) Kleason; mother, Lois Lloyd; siblings, Ann (Brian) Laven, and Mike (Anita) Lloyd; and many other loving family and friends.

A visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 PM with memorial service 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at the Cremation Society of MN – Brooklyn Park; 7835 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Park MN.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the family for distribution to Amy's favorite charities.

My family and I are deeply saddened to hear Amy had passed away. Our prayers and sympathy go out to the Teetzel and Lloyd families over this unfortunate loss. She will be missed but fondly remembered by all of us who were fortunate enough to know her. Craig, Sheri, Daniel and Taylor Nelson.
